Ben Shook has recently joined Webtec as our latest Mechanical Engineering apprentice.
16 year old Ben joined Webtec in October 2014 as part of Webtec’s continuous development programme and is on the Advanced Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering programme.
As part of the Apprenticeship scheme, Ben will undertake a mix of academic studies and practical, “hands on” training. Ben is attending Cambridge Regional College once a week where is working towards his NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Engineering and when not at college can be found being trained on the latest CNC production equipment utilised within the manufacturing facility at Webtec.
