For those in need of a fast and easy way to test hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and hydrostatic transmissions, Webtec has released the third generation of its class-leading portable Digital Hydraulic Multimeter (DHM). As a leading global manufacturer of hydraulic measurement and control solutions, we receive feedback direct from our customers about their immediate testing requirements. That’s why our new DHM – which shows precise flow, pressure and temperature readings in a digital format – now provides you with remote access to live data through the Webtec QuickCert®+ App for iPhone® and Android™. You’ll also benefit from our TrueFlow® technology, giving you a clear view of flow direction.
No matter if you're working in a workshop or outside in all weathers, our latest-generation DHM is perfect for testing hydraulic systems on both mobile and industrial machines. Its advanced functionality makes it easy to see power and volumetric efficiency, helping you diagnose faults quicker. You’ll also be glad to hear that rapid peak-pressure measurements taken 1000 times a second mean short spikes won’t slip the net. Ease of use is the name of the game, where fast-acting bar charts give you instant visual feedback – ideal for checking the cracking pressure of a relief valve.
As Martin Cuthbert, Webtec’s Managing Director commented on the new DHM tester, “we appreciate how frustrating it can be if you are struggling with hydraulic system fault finding. We believe that our new hydraulic tester can help improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety in the field”.
Our QuickCert®+ app is freely available and connects with the new DHM via Bluetooth®. With the live view feature, you can check test readings on your phone while being at different spots around the equipment. Using the DHM-recorded data, it will take you only a few keystrokes to create and send a test certificate (in PDF format) to your customer directly from the field.
We also heard your requests for a larger and even better LCD screen, letting you view more information at the same time, including TrueFlow® direction indication. The logging feature of our third-generation DHM is ideal for generating a pump performance curve by capturing up to 99 test points by logging on a keypress. Notably, DHM series testers leverage turbine flow sensor technology, providing high accuracy and compatibility, along with bi-directional flow measurement.
Wireless connectivity, internal memory and real-time visualisation assist you with advanced diagnostics, the commissioning hydraulic attachments and preventive maintenance. You can also review previous tests using the QuickCert®+ App for clearer insight into hydraulic issues.
Just like all Webtec testers, the DHM comes with our built-in loading valve, providing you with progressive pressure loading in both directions. Replaceable safety burst discs form part of our unique Interpass® safety protection system and like a fuse will blow if the maximum pressure is exceeded, redirecting flow back to the return line.
Rapid, easy-to-use, convenient and safe. There’s no need to go anywhere else for your next hydraulic tester.
