Bringing a wealth of sales, engineering, product and applications expertise to his new role Steve Thorpe has been appointed Distribution Sales Manager for the UK and Rest of World at Webtec. With over 36 years of experience in the industry, Steve was previously International Sales Manager and has already worked with many of Webtec’s distribution channel partners and will now be focussing on developing these relationships, offering technical and commercial support to grow the business.

One of Steve’s key roles will be to plan and implement UK and ROW distributor strategy and activities consistent with overall strategic aims and requirements of Webtec, by managing key distributors, researching top customers’ applications, identifying new opportunities, generating new business, and forecasting customer demand by creating sales plans.

Steve will be based at Webtec’s HQ, St Ives, UK and commented “I am excited to be embarking on this new role so, as a team we can develop a transparent system to work with and invigorate our distribution channel partners using the knowledge and experience that I can offer.”
