Alvin is the new Junior Internal Sales Engineer for the UK and Rest of World, based at Webtec’s St Ives UK HQ. As a previous Project Engineer in the R&D department, he has been directly involved in the development of Webtec’s products and so already has great technical knowledge in the company’s product portfolio. 

Following his recent secondment in the sales department, which has given Alvin a head start for his new role, he is looking forward to his new career opportunity with the knowledge and experience gained over the past year.

His target is to increase sales in this territory by identifying new applications within Webtec’s existing customer base, discovering new opportunities with prospective customers, and reinvigorating lapsed customers. 

He is also looking forward to expanding his connections in the hydraulics industry, meeting like-minded people, gain fulfilment through solving customer pain points and adding value to their organisations.

In his spare time, Alvin is interested in cars and motorsports and blowing off steam at the gym. On his new role he commented, “I am excited about the challenges and opportunities this role will bring for me. Thank you to Webtec for their continued support and faith in me. Together with my colleagues here in the sales team, I am confident that we will grow the business in the UK and ROW.”
